Petapixel Discusses 8K with Fujifilm

Digital photography blog Petapixel interviewed executives from Fujifilm about (among other things), the place of 8K in video capture. Fujifilm is the only supplier of APS-C cameras with 8K support at publication time. After the discussion, the three factors for the use and support of 8K identified were:

• Futureproofing
• Capturing in 8K to downsample for better 4K
• Capturing in 8K to crop for 4K without resolution loss.
